We manage the goats by herding them within a temporary electronet fence charged by a battery powered fence charger. This allows us to control the goat’s grazing patterns. Paddocks size can range from ¼ acre up to 1-2 acre.  If conditions warrant, goats may be fed a daily supplement and are also provided fresh water and shelter if necessary. Fence lines are checked daily to assure integrity and charge. A minimum threshold of 5000 volts of electrical current is used to contain the goats and exclude predators. The goats are moved to a new paddock when the overwhelming majority of green foliage is consumed.
